Family First

At the core of my life story are my two incredible sons and five adoring grandchildren. They are my 'why' - the driving force behind everything I do. My sons, in particular, have been a source of immense pride. Both of them are not only hardworking but also exceptional fathers. My oldest serves in the Coast Guard, while my youngest is a Lead Technician for a Security Company. Witnessing them transform into loving and dedicated fathers is one of the greatest joys of my life.

Roots and Aspirations

Born and raised in Corpus Christi, I'm the second eldest of four sisters. Growing up, I was a bit of a tomboy, always eager to prove that if a boy could do something, I could too. My goal was clear: to be a role model for my sons and sisters, but most importantly, to make my parents proud. Life taught me early on that challenges are a part of the journey, but how we respond to them genuinely matters.

From Retail to Real Estate

My career journey has been dynamic, marked by resilience and determination. It all began in the realm of home improvement retail. I started as a part-time cashier but quickly realized I wanted to climb the corporate ladder. The hard work and dedication I poured into this endeavor bore fruit, thanks to the guidance of mentors who believed in my potential.

The next chapter saw me enter the Wireless Industry, where I spent two decades working my way up from a Customer Service Rep in a call center to a General Manager. However, in 2009, life threw a curveball my way. I was faced with a choice: either move from Corpus Christi to San Antonio or accept severance due to a corporate partnership dissolution that led to the closure of my position. Embracing change and opportunity, I relocated to San Antonio, leaving behind my sons and family for the first time.

Fast forward to 2016, and I found myself at a crossroads again. A corporate restructuring once more led to the elimination of my position. This time, I made a conscious choice to put myself first. It was time to rediscover my identity and learn to love myself again. This personal journey led me to a chance encounter with real estate while searching for a new home. I contacted a realtor named Dennis Skinner, and our interaction ignited a passion for the industry.

2017 I took a leap of faith and enrolled in Champion Real Estate School. Armed with 25 years of retail experience and extensive management training, I began my journey as a licensed Realtor®. It was a fresh start, and I was ready to embrace the challenges ahead. Real estate has no room for 'faking it until you make it.' It's about dedication, hard work, and, above all, genuine care for your clients.

Positive Affirmations and Personal Growth

Every day, I wake up grateful for the opportunity to embark on this new journey. My faith in God and the power of positive affirmations have been my guiding lights. These affirmations remind me that I'm not alone on this path and help me maintain an enthusiastic, positive, optimistic, and cheerful outlook. Positivity isn't just a philosophy; it's a way of life.

Embracing Challenges

Life has taught me that challenges are inevitable but can be overcome. Losing my father at the tender age of 16 was a life-altering experience. My sisters and I leaned on each other for support, guided by the values our parents had instilled in us. As a single mother of two active boys, I juggled parenthood, a professional career, and personal growth. My best friend, Annette Garcia, has been a constant source of encouragement and wisdom.

Continual Growth and Improvement

If there's one thing I've learned, life is about growth and improvement. None of us are perfect; we all have imperfections and moments of self-doubt. However, it's essential to keep evolving. In 2016, I recognized that it was time to try something new to help me achieve a more positive mindset. That's when positive affirmations came into my life. These are positive statements I make out loud daily to shift my mindset positively and productively.

Education and Certifications

In my real estate journey, I've invested not only in my personal growth but also in my professional development. I believe that learning should be a lifelong endeavor. As of today, I've earned several prestigious designations and certifications, including the Accredited Buyers Representative-ABR®, Sellers Representative Specialist-SRS, and many more. My commitment to continuous learning is unwavering because I understand that the more I know, the better I can serve my clients.

In 2022, I was honored to be named one of the Top 500 Realtors-San Antonio in the Platinum PT50-San Antonio/Austin announcement. Today's real estate market requires a unique approach built on trust, effective communication, and a deep understanding of clients' needs.
